This thoughtfully designed new build in Little Forest Hills is more than just a home—it’s a love letter to the neighborhood’s roots. Inspired by the original 1940’s lakeside cottage that once stood here, the front façade honors the past while the clean lines and modern details bring it beautifully into the present. Cedar paneling on the exterior nods to the surrounding neighborhood forest, and every tree on the property was preserved with intention—canopies lifted, not cleared, creating a dappled light that dances through the home.

 

Inside, the space feels open and calm, with high glass in the kitchen that welcomes the morning sun. It’s a retreat for the design-minded minimalist, blending nostalgia, nature, and simplicity into one unforgettable place to call home.
